still, the large shields are a big chunk of health that has to be taken off to allow docking.
Im just saying that the restrictive shield docking feature should be removed
can dock at carrier when sheilds up?

I think I remember that game. I joined late and didn't understand what was gong on, but IC was down to one sector with a shipyard, an adv sup and a garr. There were also two attack carriers and there was supposedly a noob with a cap.
AC was mounted instead of skycap and hilarity ensued.
Some bases blew up, I just spent most of my time nanning the carriers. Game ended with a Belter TP2 drop. I got called a noob because I killed this one guy who was in a fighter and he said to boot me.
Anyway, IC carriers have an odd green door placement which makes them difficult to use. I'm pretty sure the pilot in question (who mounted shields ??) didn't go to the right sector in addition to not mounting skycap...
