Nope, they have a devolved government, which controls some things (like the NHS up there, among other things), but not everything, and is still technicaly subservien to westminster
They still pay tax to the central british government, and scottish MPs still vote on issues in the British parliament. (This creates friction with some english MPs as Scottish MPs can vote on motions which do not involve scotland in any way - the so-called west-lothian question)
It's like some US Airbase in the Middle East or something...

- Running out of fuel while defending constructors and miners, having succesfully fended off two attacks singlehandedly in quick succession, and therefore having a long flight to the base at which your commander wants you.
- Getting podded because you rammed the enemy's first constructor, thereby keeping it busy long enough for assistance to arrive before it could plant, and therefore having a long drift home.
Really, the incidence of petty power-tripping is frankly embarrassing, I guess arising from too many internet teens taking their frustrations out on anyone over whom they get to exercise the most miniscule power. Stupid, pathetic, ungrateful and counter-productive.
You know who you are, toss-rags.

I find that the average Allegiance player is not an "internet teen" myself if you are referring to their age. If "internet teen" is some other thing I have not hard of I would like to know more
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

Its a deduction based on observed behaviours. If they are not actually teens, then they need to do a bit of growing up.

Everyone gets booted at some point. Sometimes for just reasons, sometimes unjustly. Often, when you are new-ish to the game the reason you are booted may noy be the reason you think you are booted.
The solution to a bull@#(! boot is to create a second (or third) callsign. Log back in. Join the other team. Wreak a terrible vengeance upon your former master.
