Allow each gun to be turned on/off separately. That would be instead the current behaviour, where you select all weapons or only one.
Imagine you're in belters' fignan and have nan equipped. Right now it' impossible to shoot enemy with 2 gats/minis at once without also nanning him.

There's like a 6 second delay when switching things in from cargo. Plus, this could save cargo room. I find this especially helpful after an HTT run (primarily Belters) and I switch out my nan to DF.

Except, to fire the nan on my fig nan I'd have to hit 2 and 3, instead of just 1. Yay, double the number of buttons I have to press!
Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
Let me put this simply.
The amount of times I want to fire 1/3 weapons >> the amount of times I want to fire 2/3 weapons.
The proposed change, as is, doubles the amount of work for the left hand side of that equation.

Saving cargo space would be the main reason I'd like this feature, and it's not like the human brain can't handle pressing two buttons rather than one. Truthfully even I'd probably mix it up in the first few days of usage, but it'd become second nature soon.
Of course, this is only really useful for Belters, and would probably be another perk that they don't need.

Jucto - It could easily be combined with what we have now.
NOTE: I'm pretty sure these keybindings do something else, but I really don't care at this point. It's an example!
If you take the keys and their functions like they currently are, IE pressing 1 turns it to just firing Weapon 1, Pressing 2 for Weapon 2, etc, and then add it for another combination - Say press Shift 1 to activate/deactivate JUST weapon 1, then it would be a nice, neat, and workable system that works for everyone
