Crono's Opinion:
-Nerf Tech Cost instead of Yield. However, nerfing Yield makes GT weaker in protracted games because they get less money out of scraping rocks for He3.
-Make Pali cost 15K. Other factions need to pay 15K for a SY to push a regular rock con, while GT only have to pay 10K. Additionally, the Pali serves as a second Garrison without the Starbase tech, allowing purchase of tech cons, as well as special Pali/Research techs. Palis are large bases so they can't be galved and act as refs. Buying a Pali to get Adv Tech is not really a big nerf as it forces you to expand and you can mine that sector, strengthening their econ.
Noob Opinions:

What about Dreglar and Belters, both have a bonus of 10% yield, even if they don't need it.CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ May 25 2008, 06:17 PM) -Nerf Tech Cost instead of Yield. Another option:Pali should lose the abilty to build new tech bases, if Garrison is gone (exept Gar/Pali/Research).Reduce hitpoints/shields/sensors to std techbase level.CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ May 25 2008, 06:17 PM) -Make Pali cost 15K. Dreg and Belters have other nerfs, I don't mind the GT nerf at all, it's just that there is either the option of nerfing tech costs or nerfing yield, yield overall would probably be a more impactful nerf than tech prices would (it makes buying bases more expensive too) and since the Pali hasn't been nerfed, it's probably the better choice in this regard. However with 15K Palis it would be a considerable nerf to the time it took to get adv tech.
Which isn't a bad thing though. Just weighing options.

I don't wanna start talking about uber Belters and uber Dreglar atm... /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ May 25 2008, 09:41 PM) Dreg and Belters have other nerfs, I don't mind the GT nerf at all...

TF scouts help up nicely during our squad game
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.
