22 Sectors.
Cant ass myself to count my own crappy alephs.

Every sector contributes to an overall strategic value.

Lots of Chokies, designed for FFA, and 2v2. (I was originally going to make it FFA only, but a MINOR change in the center made it viable for both so I decided to go with it.)

To elaborate, the real wonder of this map is the viable attack paths and distances.

To start, for 2v2's there are 3 potential attack paths, all within the same number of sector jumps and close enough that you dont have to send your opening cons out there for an assload of time before they plant. The 3 potential attack paths each with their own distinct choke points each have different pro's and con's to them, depending on how aggressive/defensive you want to play, how much you can sacrifice safe mining sectors, how important a safe sector middle sector/back sector for a tech base is to you, and provides for a good rich center cluster to force teams away from TOO much turtling that can become prevalent in big games. The 3 paths makes sure that all chokes cant be taken in the initial push without splitting your forces as well, making for varying games.

For FFA's, most of the same things apply, but additionally it creates situations where the 1v1 over here, and a 1v1 over there... or a 3v1 or 2v1 are less likely to happen.

Truly, I think this is the best large map as it is conceived.

P.S. Additional Notes:

For clarification, the four center sectors that create the "Cross" shape are all connected to eachother and the adjacent sectors. So, the Top and bottom have 6 alephs, and the left and right have 5 alephs.

For more clarification, the single sector below and connected to R and G, above and connected to B and Y are are connected (With a really bad attempt at showing the connection) to the sectors in rows (From bottom to top) 3 and 9 respectively.
