This is a feedback of my Allegiance Installation

1. Installed Allegiance
2. Application wouldn't initialize
3. Searched web and found that its incompatible with .NET 3.5
4. Uninstalled all versions of .NET
5. Rebooted and ran .NET cleanup
6. Rebooted and installed .NET 2.0
7. Rebooted and ran Allegiane, couldn't log in.
7. Searched web and found that it had to be installed on System drive
8. Uninstalled Allegiance.
9. Tried to reinstall on System Drive (C:) but Allegiance setup complained that .NET 1.1 was not installed (even though 2.0 IS installed)
10. Dowlnloaded and installed .NET 1.1
11. Reinstalled Allegiance

I'm not complaining as this is a community project, but the installation experience was, well, a bit of a headache and I very nearly gave up. The fact that I had enjoyed Allegiance all those years back is really the only reason I continued.

Anyway, hope all is well now and that the Obsfucator you have licensed will be upgraded to work with .NET 3.5 soon.

Allegiance now works with all .NET versions. It requiers 1.1 to run, but other ones presence doesn't break it anymore. Now, if you want help, you have to be more specific about your problem. Please fill out the template from the ***READ ME FIRST*** post. Help us help you.

(yes, the docs need some updating, but none of the Helpline staff has the time to spare to this right away)

I don't need help, it was my attempt to feedback my installation experience to you...if you;re not interested in feedback then simply ignore it.

Cheers.
