hate to be an annoyance and all, but i still haven't actually gotten an answer from someone who is in the position to give it.
if you want to flame/ban/be rude to "the ignorant noob", knock yourself out. but before doing so, please answer the question.
does reading the material, count as being told the material?
it is still the same material, it will still have the same meaning, it will still have the same impact. in essence i don't see any difference between wasting a mod/trainers time in getting them to set up forums/games, (whatever it is they do in cadet 1,) and simply reading and applying the material in my own time; other than the obvious wasting peoples' time/resources that could be better spent on things like cadet 2.
Furiat, thankyou for trying to 'help' by being obnoxious. i can indeed read text, however i cannot unfortunately read minds.
as clearly as the cadet 1 page info says that you must take cadet 1 in order to proceed to cadet 2; it also clearly states that one can EITHER do cadet 1, or work through the same material, on your own, in your own time.
once again, does reading the material, count as being told the material?
thankyou in advance, for an answer from one qualified to give it.

QUOTE What is required?
NOTE: Cadet II* now requires one of two requisites. Either a minimum of FOUR months playing time or completion of the forum held version of Cadet I.[/quote]
^from the CDT2 signup page.
I guess after 4-6 months of playing normally, you'd fit in to the vet course regardless. They need a way to filter out the 1337 nubs who think they can skip the basics - don't be that nub.

Dr Kheese, I answered you clearly, and so did Furiat. So did you in your post.

Anyone could just say that they have read Cadet I and apply for Cadet II. This is why we have the requirement of having done the forum version of Cadet I rather than just having read it - it's like a proof that you have read it. It's a qualification of sorts.
