wow. nearly a 3 hour game. short recap:

open enh cons. i open op hi, secure mining sectors, his tele builds low, does same. i yell about srs, we never use them effectively all game.

i get sup in my back safe sectors, enh figs, more miners. he has tac, my miners begin to die. try to push tele middle, can't get d. finally get some, but have to build it short b/c they are already in gery (middle).

I don't remember exactly the order now, but lost a LOT of miners, finally i got an AMAZING miner d crew (danner@SPQR and 2-3 others that never left my miner - BIG props). his pt bbrs up quick. we do decent d. loose gat 2 3 times before i finally buy it. up the garr, get hvy scouts, up the sup, their sbs are up. we start loosing a base or 2, but d is not bad. team starting to coordinate (mcw is helping me a bit . . and my wife keeps interrupting wanting to know "how much longer?" . hah). tp2, xrp2. we get three tp2 scouts out easily. first run on his pali hi fails, barely. i'd had to be rallying the troops for over 45 mins at this piont, keeping morale up. oh . we had galvs at some point too earlier and pushed them back a bit.

we start tp2'ing right. kap was right tho, when we took out their first research, we should have ripping bbrs to their garr and then setup quick on their pali. kap was my tp2 on their garr and i didn't listen. i'd never seen dual tp2 runs actually work before ...so i didn't believe it. then, we pulled a triple tp2 run. omg. that was awesome. team listened, droppers dropped when needed. most of the bbrs ripped just as they needed to. unfortunately, while i was coordinating all of this, one sb solod our sup. i was in base, in a fig, just to d if needed. wife asked "how much longer", sup came under attack, and then mcw told me to get out of base. my brain short circuited and i grabbed a hvy bbr and ripped to the tp run on their tac. lol. our sup was solod. we still managed a tp1 run on their exp in gery, but grav had a sy and walked into our home (our home tele had recently been blown and con didn't have time to build), so bbrs had to rip to old sup tp and couldn't make it back in time and probably couldn't have d'd against sy anyway. at least it was grav that podded me as i tried to d that time and not one of his "flunkies" . hah.

anyway, i lost the game for us and i really have no excuse, but that triple tp2 resulting in 3 dead tech bases was amazing. mabybe it was 4. it WAS! garr/res in same sector, second tac and something we started with .. pali? other tac? i don't remember. grav had the map and the money and it took him 3 hours to finish it.

oh . and we were down players (2-3) much of the game (as much as 6 players down for 30-45 minutes). I'm PROUD of that team. great tp2 drops, great miner d, great attitude. awesome team. my apologies for brain fart and not taking out that solo sb. not going to happen again, i assure you. heh.

It was fun, the TP drops were awesome...

I played babysitter to Death3D (in a guardian), that was /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> at times too...

I hadn't seen my enemies drop TP2 like that before that game. Do you guys remember me? I was one of the nans on sob_larry's guardian along with podding two of your hvy bbrs with an adv. sf. Was fun.

Really nice (xrm2?) TP2 drops Rix.
I didn't know half the people on my team which was really weird and reminded me about commanding on hiders day. /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />

Lucky we got 2 Sb's to that Sup after asking for just 2 hours.

Thanks, Grav. I do try. I might not be that good, but I listen. I don't trust myself with an SB though, which is why I didn't grab one. That and I was busy.

Not only serviceable but great to pass time with.

If things had gone only slightly differently, I might not have been there in that final moment. My connection dropped, and someone took my place. Luckily, I managed to get back in. At least I wasn't doing something too critical, like piloting a cap.

QUOTE tl:dr[/quote]
Okay, I read it now. Mainly cause I remembered I played in that game.

It wasn't a quadruple run: Didn't get the res in there home.
solo sb'd our sup: ultimate gayness.
Guardians are cheese. People thinking that anything less than a 15 man rush to get a miner defended by a 40kb Guardian + nans will work are idiots. And even that's iffy.

I kept telling you we could have gotten their tac in a dual run with the first tp2 drop of the game, but we didn't (I was tp2 at tac). Then no one wanted to go pick up our 7 pods and it takes about 10min for us to get ready. Jeez, I remembering Laserrage yelling at me to hurry up and get ready and me screaming back that I wasn't going to drop with 1/3 of our team podded, so why doesn't someone stop $#@!ing base sitting, and go rescue their team mates.

You should have had small galv teams ripping to SR scouts - if we'd killed that tele low they would not have been able to expand (twice) into our back sectors.

Personal highlight of game: Me and Kap killing two miners in Rib'ski. I was actually typing on chat asking for a drop when one came through and rammed me. heh, no one ever suspects the butterfly backsector.
