You can't remove base shields. If you set it to '0' then the base becomes invulnerable. I got around this with the BSG core bases by lowering the shield amount to 10 and the recharge rate to 1

what if they had a recharge rate of -1 ?

but changing them to have 10 shield and a shield class of say light would also work /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hmmm, well i'd probably just give them the normal energy for the shield but very very slow regen.

Your crazy ideas are too crazy. This is just a stripped down DN for latenight, not IBCore!

However, there are a few there that are interesting, like IC bases being galvable, which would allow a latenight team to kill IC with Sup instead of relying on bombers which are too powerful latenight.

Make galv half as effective on IC small bases, or double their HP and make them standard instead of Hvy.

I think making SRs twice as expensive for Rix would balance them in small games.

Your other ideas are good, but I would increase SF's sig as well.

Three probes per slot for Reg scouts would mean you'd only have to assign on person (assuming a seven man team) to probe effectively as they could do two sectors in one run.

GS to SY is a good idea. Your other SY ideas are good too. I'd like to remove SY completely though, and move some other harmless tech to not requiring SY to use like Hvy Booster and the like.

yeah. We don't need this to be 'ZOMGWTFCORE' just, like Apoch named the core, a lite version of DN for small games

A couple of crazy ideas added in for spice, remember you can make new version of cores with ideas that dont work removed.

Simplify GT's tech tree for late night comms?
I dunno, remove the pali, make techbases upgrade more expensive, and maybe for special tech which normally requires pali and research, make it require research+upgraded research?
And put their bases back. Even though doors suck, the base models were at least interesting. I am so sick of the Research Station.

Increase nan repair rate to offset less nans + weaker bbrs?

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Late night teams are not good enough to exploit Rix's uberness, please dont nerf their cost.

But there is a lack of miner o which allows rix to get its adv tech quickly.
