In the attempt to find a better space organisation for the wiki main page, I thought it would be cool to have a "Did you know..." space in it giving small, short bits of useful information.

For now, I fixed the main page by writing full squads name, but by chatting on #RT that idea wasn't OK.

The proposal is not to collect short, useful did you know that might eventually be randomly rotated on the main page.

Like it? Don't like it?

link the lobby ban to the enforcement FAQ

The new Cadet I program will carry a page like what you are doing - "did you know" for gameplay material.

Plus those tips will now appear in each article. (example all of the "tip of the day tricks" from @Cadet)

I would suggest to wait until this page (Cadet I) is completed and then link directly to it for game play material. (As I type this I am literally taking a break from posting on the Academy some of the new Cadet I course material.) No, not until the final product is done will it be publicly viewable.

(Shhh, there will be an open call for writers next week for some of the new Cadet I material if you want to dive into some of that. Writing assignments will be posted in a sub cadet forum. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> )

Roger that, BV. Maybe whoever will figure out how to automatically rotate the Did you know's will be able to gather them from your website as well. It's all a matter of parsing anyhow.

EDIT: Links are placed on that page semirandomly. It's more of a "insert a meaningful link here please" as I was in a hurry writing that up.

It's a good idea to make catch-all type pages until the ideas get fleshed out into at least stubishness... this is a good place.

MIght want a links page, sitemap thing that makes sense to people and we can have easy to update.
n.b. I may not see a forum post replied to me or a pm sent to me for weeks and weeks...

We keeping this? It's an orphan page.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Hmm, someone should add "Did you know... TF cons pickup pods".

Unless its a lie? Someone mentioned it on another thread and I rarely fly for TF so I wouldn't know.

Just Do It! ™

It's the point of a Wiki.

Jukto, this started as a project to do a rotating Did-You-Know line on the main page. The project fell idle.
