Ok, I might as well clarify some bits.

Kok: Both systems can run Allegiance, so I hope to see you there.

Flower: A Celeron is a flawed pentium III clocked at brutish clockspeeds. However, your system is fine for playing Allegiance, although an AMD or even a Pentium III at the same clockspeed would give better performance (just the architecture, remember that clockspeed isn't everything, and besides, processors clocked at 800 Mhz are dirt cheap)

Incidentally, I've heard a report of Alleg running flawlessly on a 300 Mhz Pentium II. It has suprisingly low system requirements considering it's graphical luster.

Guitarism: I rather dislike being flamed for suggesting optional upgrades. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
Nans are happy people. They fly around, give out repairs, and overall have a lot of fun. Why are we killing them when we can learn from their example?

On second thought, I loathe my old banner. I want a good one, does that mean I have to work for myself?

=] A celeron is not exactly a flawed P3, as there are hordes of celerons based on different architectures ranging from Covington(PII) to Cedar Mill(65nm P4). Additionally if it were flawed, clocking a Celeron at high Clockspeed would result in overheating (and most often Celerons are rather underclocked instead of clocked at brutish speeds). But if you equate intentionally crippled to flawed then you are right as the different celerons all have in common that some of their features (cache... and so on) are crippled in comparison to the full fledged 'father' cpu.

Heh and I wasnt even asking about wether it is possible to play on my system ;-)
I was answering kokordilos.
But thanks for replying to me anyway /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Btw. my system is certainly to slow for Alleg. I am sure it would have been fine to play Alleg in 2000 though.

I understand I have to use the trigger ports?
Can I just use dynamic ports 2300-2400 (or whatever itwas)? And not forward to my computer, but set to dynamic?

Do you have a router (or a modem that also acts as a router)? If not, then you don't have to do any of that. If you do, check out the knowledge base in the help section for full details.

Yeah looks like my allegiance aspirations are over.
My router simply will not allow me to connect to the game.
I assume I'm supposed to do it through the in game internet button.
I tried trigger ports and port forwarding to my IP on the lan.
And that port 80 stuff.

You forwarded 2300-2400 (all 101) for both UDP and TCP? As well as 47624?

Did you try the steps in this article?

If all that fails to work, please post in the helpline forum. We'll do our best to get you on track.

Yes, I forwarded 2300-2400 TCP and UDP.
But now that I think about it, I may have forgotten (and by that I mean I did forget) to forward 47624. So I'll try that and get back to you guys.

Another item that might help is a screen shot of your router config screen.

Also do you have a modem AND a router or just a router?

If you have both a modem and a router then you need to forward the modem ports to the router and then from the router to the PC ...

If I'm understanding your question right, yes, you should be able to play the game.
