I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.

I love the picture. Welcome to Allegiance.EpsionX wrote:QUOTE (EpsionX @ Mar 14 2008, 01:19 PM) So, anyway: Hi. you've probably already seen me fooling around, shooting those light blue donuts at constructors, miners, bombers and even occasional teammate along with shooting some missiles up your tailpipe if you don't consider me enough of a threat /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> other times you might find me being "the eye on your garrison", hunting for miners, or just plain old defending. in other words, if there's a simple task, you might find me doing it at one point /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Just don't expect me to be able to hide a stealth bomber, be an effective HTT, or TP drop anywhere, and we'll get along fine.
With that out of the way, it's time to say a big thank you for all the folks that made this happen, I'm really loving it now that I've gotten the hang of it (mostly), and I now realize CDT might've been a good thing to do first, but when I joined, the newbie servers were very good for learning the basics, and pick up some combat tricks (that I later found to be mostly useless in the real deal /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />).
Now, since one of my other hobbies, besides online gaming, is drawing, I figured I might pay my respects in part by doing a little piccu for you, to show the dedication and effort you've put into creating this community has not been in vain, "The job and 'reward' of the scout, the thankless servant" /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
see you "around" /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
ps. I know the nans get thanked sometimes, it's just not a very "glorius" job /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
edit: exclamation marks oh exclamation marks, why doesn't the topic description like you? we may never know...
ZOMG you like drawing too??
I like sketching the occasional dogfight or even the simplest things like a tree or some grass or something like that.
Awesome!
Shoot the nans.

QUOTE I don't see many space combat "simulators" that are also real time strategy games in their core. still, even if this is the sole member of the genre, it is very well done ^^[/quote]
Quantum Legacy is a space game online, nearly not as god like graphics and running speed as here. You cant pilot ships, only 7 people play it, and it's all around boring.
However, Allegiance, wtf pwns :-)

about the nan... yeah, it's getting creamed badly, but its mission is complete, and the con is building, so all is well? /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
actually, that's exactly what I said, I'm not in the cadet, and maybe should see about it, learning is good /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> (and there are a lot of things I don't know about alleg yet, like does docking to a carrier secure tech, etc.SpacePenguin wrote:QUOTE (SpacePenguin @ Mar 15 2008, 07:26 AM) Btw, I haven't seen you in this most recent session of Cadet II.
Which means that you should join the next one! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
I'm fairly limited to pencil&paper in my knowhow, and I'm not all that good in designing stuff from scratch, but other than that, I could think about it /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />Papsmear wrote:QUOTE (Papsmear @ Mar 15 2008, 12:52 PM) Very nice drawing, you may want to consider lending some artistic support to the development team here.
I don't think I draw as much as I probably should... I've started hearing from many that I'm good, but too often I lack either motivation or ideas /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />Sakuda wrote:QUOTE (Sakuda @ Mar 15 2008, 02:34 PM) I love the picture. oh no no, I do like having them around, they really make the game look better, it's just that I had already found them through the links in this forum /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> so thanks for making the site to have them all to choose from, makes it easier to find them.Mesial wrote:QUOTE (Mesial @ Mar 15 2008, 04:04 PM) I'll just shut up then.

might be, might be...BeaerSidhe wrote:QUOTE (BeaerSidhe @ Mar 15 2008, 06:00 PM) Maybe we should put a fan art link on the wiki. If we build it, they will come.
while you decide on that, I have another piece to show,"Don't forget to defend your miners" /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
I like explodiey stuff...
