Uninstalled .net 2.0 sp1.
Downloaded new and installed.
Got the error in the title.

Internet Service Provider(company name): Comcast, bitches
Location(State/Province/Locality, and Country): Richmond, VA
Installed Mods: None, as of yet
Problem Encountered at Step #: ASGS locks up entire computer on launching game
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): both as far as I can tell
What Error Message: none, just locks up

uninstall all .net. use the .net uninstall cleanup utility. then reinstall the 1.1 and 2.0.
I loose my motivation to help out more and more each day to drama like this. Which is why I am mostly /meh on this point. I will continue to play as I always have, with the morals I have been rasied with and if this community finds they don't like myself and others like me who just enjoy playing the game with their friends on TS or squadies, then they can ban us and my Warhammer account, Girlfriend, and IRL activities will get a lot more attention and will thank them.

No, don't install .NET 2.0 (unless some other app you are using requires it, bu I seriously doubt that). All ASGS needs to run at this point of time is .NET 1.1 SP1 with the Hotfix. Installing 2.0 right now is asking for trouble with the SP1 for it on auto update. You will be notifed when the new ASGS will roll out and the .NET 2.0 will be required. ASGS still locks up my system forcing a reset. I'm lost.
Interestingly, it tried to log me in as xxxxxx and not the callsign I was logging in under, Gstar.

I log into my account management and the callsigns associated with my main are : XXXXXX@SysX, ACS_Com_03@ACS, Miner938.

P.S. - on a positive note, Firefox runs 1,000,000 times faster without .net 2.0.
