i'd never buy retro booster unless i had retard money, but definately pick it up since the scout whores use it so well

otherwise always pick up the guns (gat2/mini2/dis2/sniper1) and all the missile tech (unless you are TF/Rix) and always get prox 2 and minepack 1

if you find nan 2 and don't bring it back to base you are a felonious fool

I like my name in lights so I pick it all up missiles for rix, nans for penix, even the utterly useless qfs /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I know they say dont pick up missiles with rix/tf, but why the hell not. It at least prevents them from getting it right then and there, and hell, the other team may even have to buy that tech

If I remember correctly (I don't play Nix that often), their cons and miners can be nanned, so bringing home nan2 is a great help.

A tactic I enjoy doing often is picking up tech i know the enemy needs, and ejecting it 10k off grid. Exp v exp? I'll pick that mini2 up and eject that sucker into the sun (simply put it makes ending the game easier). You chumps went Tac? I'm slingshotting this hunter 2 half way across the galaxy.

Oh and if I don't have the leisure of flying far off grid to shoot something into space at 100+ mps, I'll just eject the tech into a rock, since when a floating object that's has the ability to be picked up goes poof when it hits a rock, it makes preventing the enemy from getting tech that much more fun.

Thanks Drizzo. I had never heard that.

I pick up everything, just to stop the T's from making me think that I am missing out on a freebie. Free stuff is the best stuff, even if it is useless.

Why would you not dock D3 as Rix? Ten floating treasure symbols after a failed bomb run might be nine dumb 3 and one Medium shield 3, much easier to spot the useful things without the stuff you're trying to ignore cluttering up your screen.

Exactly my thought, I will always pick EVERYTHING up, its not just a case of getting better tech for your team, denying the enemy that tech even if you cant use it can save you the game. And not being able to use it while stopping them just makes me /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Of course, you could be much better at surviving than I am /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
