I uninstalled and ran tweaknow. There was only 1 relevant file about alleg that I got rid off. Before I uninstalled I found a reg key with my login information, it was not there after I uninstalled so I don't know where it is saving it. Other than the registry or in the alleg folder I don't know where that would be saved. I suspect that if login information is being kept something else may still remain after I uninstall that is messing it up.FreeBeer wrote:QUOTE (FreeBeer @ Feb 16 2008, 09:47 PM) Well, there's filemon (or it's equivalent for your OS version) that will monitor file access.
I've used TweakNow as a registry cleaner. I don't know how well it stacks up with others, but I know I've used it safely.
I ran Process Monitor (the XP version of filemon). Every time ASGS uses the function QueryOpen on the allegiance.exe file it reports "FAST IO DISALLOWED". I don't know what that means but since most other things say "SUCCESS" I assume it's bad. This happened to several other .exe files as well, with the additional error that ASGS would use the CreateFile function on the file after doing QueryOpen. The error for that was "NAME NOT FOUND", which also sounds bad.
I can post the results of the file if you'd like or find someway to put them up for download. I am not sure what most of it means. It actually might be helpful if someone could run Process Monitor while they log in to Alleg so I can compare.
