Should the HTT and Heavy Bomber for BSG core be split? I combined them before I gave them the hull boost (Which is coming down a bit in 0.32F) becuase the HTT couldn't do anything becuase if an enemy got even a short burst off, the HTT would die. Now that they have the hull boost, it makes them somewhat overpowered.

What do you guys say? Keep it and lower the hull more, or split them apart and keep the hull?

split them, lower the turret mounts to 1 for the HTT, and take away the HTT's forward gun capacity, and lower bomber forward gun to regular KEW.

As it stands though, when the core was up, i didn't even use AB's to take base shields down, i could just heavy KEW them (or have a scout shoot the base before the TT rams the shielding)

That's one thing I'm going to do as well - Increase the sheild on bases. Not to actual sheild levels, but to make KEWs/Heavy KEWs have a hard time lowering it.

I'm going to lower the turrets on all bombers/HTTs to one per ship (Well, already done), but the Cylons are keeping the Heavy KEW on the front, as it has much lower RoF and Damage compared to 0.31. The Raptor just doesn't make sense with the Heavy KEW - It'll likely get a mass reduction and higher agility

bbr's are slower than htt's but the should stick with 2 turrets. why? because it slower but more defended or faster but no (or 1 for nix) turrets.

i like the idea of different ships in different cores .. like a combined htt/bbr ...

but in reallife (ie. BSG <3.0).. i think they used raptor style ships to invade the enemy Main ships (both the peeps and the cylons)... so itd be a cloakable, fast small vessel .. but in all the cases there was only a chance of success .. maybe throw a dice roll in there.. 70% chance of success (=your attempt to capture the base has failed!)

just my 2c..

One reason I combined them was the lack of EMP missiles - So the HTTs would really have to have the forward-mounted Heavy KEWs in order to take down sheilds.

And Jassim, BSG core is different than normal Allegiance

Another question: Is a heavy bomber even needed in BSG core?

I dont think so. Keep em true to the BSG Universe since they are used for both, just maybe with a little less hull.

You have done great so far. The Dogfight feels very true for me there. It looks hillarious but the ships have an authentic size (have you found a soultion for that? Maybe by making the models really tiny and the ships slow?).

Keep it up that way!
