Its a mystery why. Planet2 has never been all that stable for me, frequently booting me off after 20-30 mins with 'pings arent coming back', but now i have a full on 'cant connect to server' when attempting to join a game from the lobby.

Anyone got an IP or something that I can tracert or something to try and figure it out? Nothing has changed with my connection setup - I will try it from work (same machine, different connection) to try and establish if its my isp or something thats the problem.

Several bad hops to Planet from the Midwest. It is not you, it is a few of the hops. I can barely play on Planet anymore.

It crashes WAAAYYY too much. But hey, it's still better than EU at times.

Necropost! ive accepted the golden truth that there is nothing better than Alleg and I must find a way to make it work! hell i may even make donations /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

These look rather healthy to me. Should I leave a ping running while playing alleg and see what happens when it dumps me out?

pings wont help you find the source. You could leave a tracert running while you play (repeat it every minute or so), but play without it first, your route might have gotten better in the last 6 weeks.
