Delaying the tourney 1 week would probably increase turnout, as we have few highschool players in comparison to college players, and colleges stay out till a week before january ends. Issue of break isn't there, and people aren't as likely to be on holiday.

Hospital-level flu, now that's something I haven't heard of yet /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Must be really serious. Hope I'm wrong as usual.

Masauu: one week later it'd get in RL's way, not to mention SGs. :/

Well, I haven't heard anything thing from the Drizzle. I guess we can postpone unless he happens to show up before xmas.

Anyways, I hope the drizzle gets back to drizzling soon. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Unfortunately it can be a killer, mostly for those that already have some other issue going on, but it can flatten healthy college students as well. If the fever spikes too high or fluids get too low (resulting in an electrolyte imbalance) it can cross the line from 'a bad flu' to deadly.

Get well soon.

Remember that influenza used to be epidemic and killed many. Actually it still kills alot of people, probably in the form of pneumonia, but you just don't hear about it. It's scary to think that the liberal uses of antibiotic gels, creams, and what have you can lead to something like the flu to mutate into a super virus.
