That's probeage to RT standards, that is.

If you can't walk from one base to the next by using probes as stepping stones, there aren't enough probes.

There were about just as many, if not more, probes in the IC home sector during this game. Almost a necessity if you want to survive more than 20 minutes after belters get SBs.
