TotD is great. Something a lot of people have said would be useful for a long time, and implemented in a good fashion.


But one tiny little typo I noticed, the one I saw was about nanning and went:

Had a random bracket at the end.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

There's a few typos in the TotD.

Well just keep posting any you see here. Almost all were copied and pasted from somewhere. I fixed some typos but definitely didn't get them all. Thanks.

Need more tips also.

Is there a list of the ones included so far?

Perhaps its already in but a tip about not killing pods would be good.

is there a way to disable them?

We implement the ability to type while in countdown, but then remove the ability to see anything past that stupid screen.

Excuse me if it is written somewhere, i just havent had time to look.

so you get it clear, i absolutely HATE the tip of the day during countdown.

im going right now to see if its documented anywhere on how to disable it.

don't get me wrong i think its a good idea, for some people, i just want the ability to disable it, and anyone over the rank of 12 should be able to disable it.

If you want to see the full chat you can dock it to the top of the screen. Maybe I'll look into doing that anyway. If you really can't deal with not seeing quite as much for a whole 15 seconds it MIGHT be possible to set the coordinates in the mdl so that the map briefing is off the screen. I would think its possible but not sure.

i fail to see why its would be an issue to have it turned off? If 1 person doesn't wish it to be there, you can bet there are more. Dont take it so personal (if thats what you are doing), i just don't want to see it. As i stated i do think its a good thing, but i just dont want to see it.


Also, did the TOD disable the ability to type during countdown? Because i cant type during countdown.
