I don't really know what sort of vehicles we're going to have, aside from the basic stuff.
We need, for probably all factions (though we're just starting with two):
-Some sort of car thingy; probably for scouting; maybe able to hold 2-4 people
-Troop Transports
-Bombers
-Tanks
-Some sort of interceptor; whether it's like a ground speeder, or a small jet, or something
-Bases
-Soldiers
-Other stuff
-Guns
As for details, I don't really know. I would personally like some turrets on at least the bomber and troop transport; beyond that, it's sort of your call.
Vehicles
We need the staples (can be the same for all the 100%-human factions, different models probably for Bios and the two alien races):
Assault Rifle (bayonet on the end? I saw one in one game and have been in love ever since)
Heavy Machine-gun
Sniper Rifle
Rocket-launcher (or some sort of energy-weapon equivalent?)
Flamethrower + napalm backpack
Hand grenades
And then you can sort of go nuts; just make fun-looking models and we may or may not incorporate them, depending on how creative we can get with the weapons coding.

A personal comment, if I may:
The business end of your gun, Dare, is on the left of the picture, yes?
I really personally prefer it if it were backward; if the bigger, more menacing right side were the front. The huge backend of guns, with a tiny little muzzle (barrel? I don't know gun terminology lol), seems kind of anticlimactic.
Well-done though. Except extremely shiny; doesn't even need ammo, just shine a flashlight at it and your enemy is blind, free for you to bludgeon them to death.
EDIT: And if I'm wrong, and the business end IS the right, then it's really really awesome (except, again, the shinyness /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />)

QUOTE (Datamine)If you're using Torque, keep in mind that vehicle models should come in several different parts. Separating every vehicle into chassis, shocks, and wheels lets Torque do fairly realistic things (both visually and physically). It also lets you re-use models by scaling up or down and attaching different components.
And, yes, turrets should be a different model as well. Upgrading a turret could then be a matter of changing the turret model: same animation code, but now it looks cooler. Since Torque vehicles allow for arbitrary mount points, you could have vehicles which can mount a variety of guns in a variety of positions, and the model would update to reflect the current armament.
-Craig[/quote]Would appreciate it if you guys would go by these guidelines, please.
