Latest edit: redownloaded the new installer, reinstalled Alleg, now get the message file "static_core.igc has an invalid signature" "click yes to fix or no to cancel"
Clicked yes, it updated all the .igc core files, now its working. I suggest everyone save there keymapping, DL the new installer from the DL page and re-install alleg. Thats the only idea i have.

I can't log in either.
IT tries to update my ASGS, and it says do you want to update Training Nan.
I say Yes.
IT starts to update it but without no bar showing how long it will take. You know what I mean.
Then it says Update Completed.
I have to re log into ASGS again, but I have to RE UPDATE my Training Nan EVERYTIME.
What do I have to do to get past the Training Nan bug I have?
(I get to Validating Installation, it says would you like to repair the Training Nan.igc File, I say Yes and it does what I said above)

Ok, un-installed and re-downloaded and installed Alleg. Now, after ASGS did it's updates, when I try to launch, I get 'static_core.igc file has an invalid signature. Would you like to attempt to repair this file?' Should I repair or not?

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand Binary and those that don't.
I was going to post this:
CODEFirst, I tried to launch alleg but it wouldn't and I figured it was becauause of the chatpacks, so I removed them and put Tigereye's which worked in the beta also. Alleg launched now, asgs did the update but when autoupdating in-game it stopped at some point saying that there was an error, that the server might be to busy and that I tried again later. It also pointed me to look at the UpdateError.txt for more info. I then closed asgs and tried again just to see if it prompted the same error and it did but this time it wasn't the same file at UpdateError.txt. I tried a 3rd time and then Alleg closed with an error that said something like it couldn't close itself and that I clicked "Ok" if I wanted to continue updating anyway, I clicked ok and Alleg crashes with the typical "...has encountered a problem ... send or not send" Now ASGS won't launch Alleg.
This is the Update Error.txt:
QUOTE Update attempt at: 11/1/07 at 11:51:54 (local time)
Data for file C:\Games\Allegiance\AutoUpdate\btnstopdonate.png is wrong. Tried to download 10 times. The HTTP Update server may be too busy or missing the file. Or there may be a problem with your ISP or proxy server. Look at this file in a text editor/web browser for details.

Data for file C:\Games\Allegiance\AutoUpdate\teampane.mdl is wrong. Tried to download 10 times. The HTTP Update server may be too busy or missing the file. Or there may be a problem with your ISP or proxy server. Look at this file in a text editor/web browser for details.[/quote]
But tried an uninstall, reinstall and I had the same situation as sp4wn about the static core, I clicked yes and its now working. Be sure to backup your mods or other folders (but put the backups outside the Allegiance folder because the uninstaller will remove them if they are in the path).

Quick update, it looks like the lobby's just gone down, so if you dont see any games its not your client....I think.
