You easily could have read the numerous JS vs Mouse threads that have existed since you joined the community (since they were on topic) and talked/ not talked there rather than making a confident suggestion based on your ignorance to someone trying to help the community, thereby derailing his thread.

But I agree, you did end up looking like a fool.
