Okay, here's the deal. You are voting on the design. Once a winner is picked, I will have a higher resolution version made, if one does not exist yet. If several options are fairly close, I'll post a second vote that narrows down the options. If the vote is a total landslide, I won't bother with the second vote.

i am wondering about why both 8 and 9 made it in the vote when they are only shifted by a few px

did someone say the whole colour scheme will be changing? (blue background etc?)
*considers the effect on the logo with different background*
i guess we will see if it needs re-evaluating if/when we have a new colour scheme

The color scheme will not be changing in the near future. If it does, we can revisit the matter at that time.

Anyway, I'd like to see #1 win. It's elegant, understated, and is the perfect match for the current colour scheme.
