The best way to solve this scenario is just not to fly for baxter.

Feel free to make it personal, it's not like you don't rush to join my team if we happen to be winning or stacked at the moment, anything to pad your kiba right Shiz?

Resigns pass because most of the team are either newbs or voobs. The newbs just vote yes because it will end the game (and they want this for some reason). And the voobs have no idea what is actually going on in the game and are demoralized by a lost tech or some such.

Only time I ever fly for you is when you are pitted against someone more incompetant than yourself. Though now I have tribes 1 for such situations.

Oh and for personal attacks, why don't you go whine to bv some more about it, I'm sure he loves to hear your incessant whining over every player who doesn't listen to your every word.

DB - I believe some other poster said it better why the team voted yes. People don't realize that the tac had served its purpose and that we were about to heavy bomb them to oblivion using giga lxy scouts. They see a techbase destroyed message and all go "We lost :(" while the situation is quite to the contrary. Heavy scouts having just come online, would have neutralized any further SB attempts as our team had a few competent pilots who were doing a great job defending against SBs in advanced scouts/SFs until that point. Yes, our team was voob/noob heavy with a few vets leading the charge.

But the game as a whole left a sour taste in my mouth.

Shiz, you're a funny guy, don't blame me for your bans, I can't take responsibility for them.

Enjoy Tribes 1, after that you can play starcraft 2.

the only moment in which i would approve booting would be on those cases.

well, to be honest, it is pretty much the only scenario when you will recieve a resign from your team, because no player will resign sgs (and the team will follow accordingly only if it is ok), and well, vets usually don't resign pug's. so that leaves us to newbies and voobs.

I agree, with small modification - in my experience, the newbs almost never vote yes to a resign because they want to keep playing and don't know enough to know that the game is really over.

But yeah, the voobs vote yes almost blindly when their team is not completely dominating or some small mishap occurrs (like loss of opening con).

Vets usually don't vote yes until it really is over (or close to it) since comebacks are one of the great parts of this game.
