think we should get some basic content on it quickly, then improve it in future?

Squads in Allegiance are community recognised groups of players who play regular "Squad Games" against each other. They are similar in many ways to "Clans" in other games. A list of members in squads is [http://asgs.alleg.net/asgsweb/squads.aspx here].


==Rules on forming a squad==
*You need 10 active players (really you need some Vets or you risk creating a [[Newbie Squad]]
*Once you have your 10 active players, you need to contact an admin to receive your @squad tag

Its generally advised that new players join existing squads and not try to form their own

ok, descriptions could be submitted by the squads, or more sensibly, some form of squad history...

actually, can i just stick stuff like that up an let others fix it? i wasn't sure on the squad forming rules any more, since i know you used to have to do 3 squad games with atleast 10 players to get a senator, but we don't have them any more, do you have to do that so your SLs and ASLs get enforcers?

Oh, and "Other Squads" should be removed from the page IMHO.

They are not squads, nor they are connected to. Plus, there is the @Zone tag missing.

At most, place some links to the Training and Enforcement zones.

Aren't we replacing those kb articles? That's what I've been working on anyway.

As for editing the squad pages each squad should nominate a member to maintain their page(s?) who can be given wiki editing powah (that's ok right Tiger?).

I was just saying that we need not write up new articles for the squad pages, unless the squads want to change/add/remove something. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Am not fully awake ATM.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
