I just downloaded Gmax (Again!) a few days ago, and last night I decided to see if I could make some interesting ship models.

Scout: 354 triangles
Fighter: 354 Triangles
Interceptor: 426 Triangles
Bomber: 572 triangles

Now, since I've got little idea on what to do to make them Allegiance ready, I can't skin, and I don't have milkshape, I'm going to need some help to get them into Alleg. And they are mostly only 'rough' basic designs

And I was going for more of an avian look, but it ended up looking like fish. But I thought they look pretty cool. And if you can't tell, everything is based off of the fighter.

I have finished the Stealth fighter, the Constructor, the Miner, and the Freighter. I also have the Life Pod, but I forgot to get a pic of that. I shall have pictures as soon as I get back from band (In around two hours or so)

Nice ideas so far, A tad repititive though.

Just download the milkshape trial and import the GMAX file with it, it worked for me (But that was 3ds Max)

Gmax exports to some stuff that Milkshape can import, but apparently I had the milkshape trial on this comp before

Gmax... you import it into the help section and just read it from there

Which one are you referring to?I'm finding half a million of them. I used to be really good with Gmax but that was a few years ago.

I'll get better as I go along and make things.

Don't fish usually have a tail? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Anyways, I think you should do more about texture. Your ships are just a bit too 'shiny' for a space feel. Maybe put on some battle scarring and make it darker. Also the red fins don't fit in well.

they don't particularly have a texture ATM. And the colors were so that people could see the different parts.
