Is there a program that remakes the F3 view to make it more RTS like, where i can select things in it and get a full readout with it. say if i selected one of my id get info down the bottom about its health, sheilds, signature, speed, and if i click on something else with that i can see his/her cargo, ammo left, etc...
Sorry to hear about the frame rate. This is first report of slowness I've received.ski2slow wrote:QUOTE (ski2slow @ Jul 9 2007, 04:47 AM) I did download and tried the Jelloshot HUD on my 37" widescreen LCD at 1400x1050. Unforetunately, my PC with Athlon XP 3200+ with ATI Radeon 9800 Pro lacks a little processing power. The FPS drops and lags too much for my liking. I guess it is time for me to upgrade my pc.
THE HUD looked awesome though. Great job Cort!

My first thought is that something else may be causing this. I say this because I developed and tested the new HUDs on a PC with an Intel Pentium 1.7 GHz, ATI 9000, 1 GB RAM at 1280x1024. I also did testing at 1600x1200 which ran fine. At a guess, my development system is using slower/older equipment than your setup.
The only time I've had FPS issues with allegiance on this particular computer is with a full compliment of texture packs.

I can run fine at 1280x1024 but it gets a little hard for me to read stuff at that point. My configuration is a Pentium 4 3.2 ghz (I wish I had an AMD, but oh well), a NVIDIA 6200 128 mb ram PCI-E, 1 gb ram.FlingPu wrote:QUOTE (FlingPu @ Jul 9 2007, 09:53 AM) Sorry to hear about the frame rate. EDIT:
How do you find your Framerate?

I'll look into this, but the F3 screen is new to me so it may take a while to research. I'm guessing health, shield, and speed are possible since they are exposed to the client. As far as I know, Target sig, cargo, and ammo are not available.FE-Black Eagle wrote:QUOTE (FE-Black Eagle @ Jul 9 2007, 10:51 AM) Is there a program that remakes the F3 view to make it more RTS like, where i can select things in it and get a full readout with it. say if i selected one of my id get info down the bottom about its health, sheilds, signature, speed, and if i click on something else with that i can see his/her cargo, ammo left, etc...
ALT-F cycles the frame rate display.fuzzylunkin1 wrote:QUOTE (fuzzylunkin1 @ Jul 9 2007, 11:36 AM) I can run fine at 1280x1024 but it gets a little hard for me to read stuff at that point.
