yes. for instance if you are side thrusting and the enemy is going the same speed and direction as you, it;s like shooting a stationary object

Q: I hear "buy the ship" all the time and never thought much of it until someone said it to me recently. Thing is, I already had bought the bomber. I clearly saw I had the money and saw no reason why someone couldn't board as turrret. What did I miss? Is there a glitch?

if you press "buy ship" the commander gives you the money. you need to press it AGAIN to literally buy the ship. only after that you can be boarded

What is the EW Disruptor used for, and how does it differ from the Gat Gun / Galv, besides consuming energy?

Also, TF bombers are different from other faction's bombers in that they use their main gun to raep bases. How does this work to TF's disadvantage / advantage?

And lastly, how exactly do the plasma generators of TF work?

Thanks in advance. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

EW distruptor has a better damage modifier against larger ships and shields... and uses energy instead of ammo. On DN they are usually not used overly much, unless you have Distrutor 3, as their damage output is too low compared to the PW Gatling.

TF bombers have an AB cannon that is very effective against normal ships, unlike AB missiles. They have to watch the energy however, as they can easily run out of energy. They are not limited by the number of AB missiles.

TF plasma generators are small turrets. They will hit targets within a limited distance of them.

But doesn't it go against a bomber's main job of attacking bases to attack enemy ships instead? Wouldn't that render the whole effective against ships thing moot?

And yes, already signed up for @Cadet. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

When defenders are rushing at you, they get a nasty surprise if they get caught in the cannon's blast. Basically makes ramming a TF bomber a whole lot more dangerous.
