As usual, the Allegiance Dev Team has been silently plugging away over the past few months preparing the next update to our favorite game. We've got a good batch of updates ready for testing and we need your input! Some of these changes are amazing - check them out!

If you have time tonight, (Wednesday June 6th) grab the latest build of R4 and try to play a game or two on the beta server to check out the new functionality. There are some changes that will affect gameplay, so we'll need your input in letting us know if we should keep them or not.

We're using ASGS for beta testing, so be sure to choose "Beta Mode" in your ASGS client before clicking "Log In"

See you on the beta servers!!

Seriosuly, I'm in. Anything I can do to help continue the testing and development.

Great work guys!

(There were some strange graphics issues with my device last time I ran R4, but if it continues tonight I'll post it somewhere)

Some players have reported "strange" graphics issues when in 32bit mode. The common denominator seems to be ATI graphics cards. What's yours?
This is documented in the "Known issues with this build" section of the release post.

Any info on these graphics issues is helpful. Post in the Dev forum and document everything you think would help us.

Is it possible to update ASGS to allow the use of additional command line options? A lot of people are affected by the 32bpp problems. Maybe either have an option in the Allegiance menu that when you click on opens a textbox where you could type "-16bp" + anything else. Or you could have ASGS read in command line options it gets and apply them to Allegiance when it starts it up.

My game works fine with a NVIDIA 6200+ PCI Express. 128mb ram. (from what I could tell . . . wasn't able to fly around because I was the only one on.)

And also from what I could tell R4 is COMPLETELY AWESOME!

You can fly around... play as a single team.
