They need more spread. so they are less accurate over a large distance.
Also they need to stop ramming into enemy capships and blowing themselves up. They also need to be able to go through carriers.
And int drones should be able to boost.
Phoenix Drones
This requires basically a total rewrite of the AI for combat drones. For a technology that is practically never used outside of the newbie server and a faction that's only allowed on one core.Fusbun wrote:QUOTE (Fusbun @ May 16 2007, 08:05 AM) They need more spread. so they are less accurate over a large distance.

I'd rather see miner and con AI improved myself.

Isn't miner AI somewhat determined by core? I've always noticed that EoR miners will go back and scrape He rocks once the last "full" rock has been drained. That's always been handy.

Why dont we see more people using phoenix mobile star/tech bases?
Its a floating carrier that you can dock/undock at, is immune to standard fire (need to bomb it baby), it can rip, and you can undock and non-capital ship from it. It also costs only twice as much as a standard carrier (Albeit you cant rip to a mobile starbase, you just dock/undock at it).
I mean, if you are playing against expansion v expansion just send it right next to the enemies expansion and undock nix assault shield bombers = instant win!

I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe EoR has different He3 regen rates or something that tempts the miners back? I'm fairly sure that Miner AI is not really affected by the core. How the core works may impact on the choices the AI makes though.Clay_Pigeon wrote:QUOTE (Clay_Pigeon @ May 16 2007, 02:21 PM) Isn't miner AI somewhat determined by core?
