Windows Version (and Service Packs): 2000 XP sp2
Processor Speed: Athlon XP 1800 (1.6 ghz I think)
RAM: 1 gig
Video Card (Make and Model#): Radeon 9600 Pro
Sound Card (Make and Model#): yamaha something or other
Connection Type (Dialup, Cable, DSL, other): DSL
Modem (Make and Model#): Speedstream 5100
Router (Make and Model#): Linksys Wireless G 2.5 ghz WRT54G
Internet Service Provider(company name): ATT
Location(State/Province/Locality, and Country): Texas, USA
Installed Mods: The_Bored's reticle and one of the common mods for improving the in-game interface.

Problem Encountered at Step #: 10.
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): Allegiance
What Error Message: No error, just CTD
Comments (What you tried, description, etc):

I played last week and it was fine. Today, trying to get into the squad game, I logged into ASGS and made it into the lobby all right, but on trying to enter any game, my computer would crash to desktop immediately. Don't know what's going on. I've restarted the computer several times, restarted the router and modem, plugged directly into the modem. I've tried running the repair in ASGS and also running it in safe mode.

All have the same result.

Actually, the first time I tried to access the game today, I dropped back to lobby with a DPLAY error... connection refused or something like that. The second time I tried and every time since, I've crashed to desktop.

Any suggestions?

That is just weird...

On weird problems the first two suggestions are virus scan and looking for spyware using spybot.

The other idea is to do a re-install of Alleg.

Thanks for replying. I reinstalled and it's working again. Forgot to save my previous config file, though, so my controls are a mess right now /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
