Okay, can we get "Allegiance uses ports 2300-2400 and 4xxxx (whatever it is)" on the frontpage?

I'm trying to find the lobby port number and its giving me the @#(!s, I've tried most of the stuff but admittedly not very hard, I just want to hop into the game and play. If this is hard for me (installed alleg 3 times, okay not heaps and I probably should've writed them down somewhere notepad-wise) then for a new person looking for answers this will give them the flying @#(!s if they get far enough into it. The game is a 5 min download for many people now, and setbacks may result in people writing it off as a wasted 5 minutes (although not those with good sense, who can resist allegiance's lures?)...

I'm guessing we'll see a lot less "Failed to connect to lobby" posts, except for those needing port forwarding or using connection sharing. A link to these direct instructions should be on the download page and in the getting started guide.

...pretty please?

Edit within 60 seconds of post: Found it, I'm an idiot, but I believe the point is still valid

The Getting Started page linked on the front page includes a link to technical help which contains all the relevant information.
