It's interesting that in most communities at least half the posts in this thread would have resulted in administrative action for personal attacks, here people goad each other to more.

The community dies for many reasons, but the most important is a lack of comradery and respect for each other ...

There's no interest in the administration to use a rank system that works in general terms, let alone the garbage we currently have.*

So, unless the admins are going to do something useful, remove ranks other than newbie ...

Ah well, funny enough a couple polls that I do every year or two is what you have to deal with.
