For as long as I've been playing, we've faced a steady decline in the player base. When I first started playing, the leaderboard had 800+ names; during the SPQR period, somewhere between 500-600; now, less than 200. This decline is NOT a new problem and will probably not be solved by new leadership ...

I think that there is a fair amount of parity between the squads right now. Its just that now there are less competent players around, so if 1 guy bails on a squad that can much more seriously damage a squad then it could in the past.
