ok, affermative, well I have the most recent version now and haven't had any problems anymore so far.

Here are a few suggestions of things I didn't find in-game and assume aren't there (yet):

1) A hotkey to align the turret with the direction the ship is facing

incidentally I did that during the installation of another program. My directX said I had 9.0c but the installation asked for it anyway. I only had the problems twice (in a row) and not again after that, even before I installed 9.0c (again). Thanks though
