I think I'd say that it becomes easier with Hvy Scouts rather than easy. Whether or not it's truly easy tends to depend on the opposing team.

Here's a thought that came to me when TP2 specific scouts were mentioned.

Would it be possible, or a good idea, to give a sig rating to TP probes when they are loaded, just like missiles have? That way the scout's sig rating goes up when they load the TP probes to drop and gives the defenders a few ...

Slightly perk XRMs.

If you are going with a fighter-bomber TP2 drop run, I think it would be ideal to rip in a mix of fighter-bombers with regular AB missiles for the close in attack and XRM bombers for a longer distance attack. I'm only talking of a modest buff to XRMs, I think they were a bit too ...

^^;

Also sorry for the delay, the time before finals can get pretty darn hectic.

That is incredible info on running the LAN games by yourself. That'll be great for testing ship weapon/shield/armor levels.

I'll download the stuff you guys have mentioned and give it a try when I get a chance ...

Thanks for the replies ^^ Lots of good info there.

Just so that I'm 100% sure on this, factions that I can use are:

Belters
Bios
Dreghklar
Ga'Taraan
GigaCorp
Iron Coalition
Rixian (yay!)
Technoflux

My next question is... Getting ICE to work. I have ICE and Allegiance installed on an external ...

Been awhile since I was last here.

I'm interested in building a core, however I don't quite know how to get started. I know that Apochboi had a guide for how to work with ICE up, but I can't find it. I was also wondering if there was a place that the old update/release notes for the other cores ...

QUOTE (FireDart @ Mar 6 2008, 08:11 AM) Once I found out MK4 ships fail to work for most people... I realized that my orginal idea failed before ever being created.

If it can be done maybe make HE so low that miners wont leave base for it. If this will not crash the server of course. Items like ...

An idea that's been floating in my head...

Give Rixians some form of Railgun option for their missile slot that uses up alot of ammo but puts out alot of damage as well. You should probably restrict this to either gunships and advanced fighters and above.

Or instead of using the missile slot ...

QUOTE The correct order is:
Bios
Belts [nanned]
Rix
Rest[/quote]

Why in the world would you be nanning stealth bombers? Interesting idea though.... But I have never seen it done.

My vote would go for TF stealth bombers. No locking time, no missile reload time (although it takes awhile to reload ...

Keep in mind I would consider myself still more of a newbie, but reasonably competent comm.

Oh, and this is assuming DN core, my answer would be just a tad bit different for other cores.

Factions I favor:

Rixian, Technoflux, Bios

Favorite faction:

Rixian

I would primarily go Supremacy as ...
