miner o

  • kill nans first. keep a mental note of where the miners are at all times. if the defense strays too far from miners, you may be able to kill the miner before they can catch up.
  • if your miner o team outnumbers the defense significantly, it may be wise to concentrate your firepower on the defending ints/figs first.
  • if you dont see nans around the miner, it doesnt mean they arent there. shoot the miner's shield off to lure the nans into your detection range, then change targets to kill the nans.
  • if you have no fuel to get home, try to kill yourself on the miner so you can podkill on the same miner to get home fast.
  • look for powerups in the sector before engaging. position yourself so that you can do fly-bys to pod the nans and use a powerup to recuperate the lost ammo/fuel/hull/shields. (try not to reload before picking up a powerup or you wont benefit from the free ammo/fuel refill.

miner d

  • you don't have to be right "next" to the miner to defend it. you just need to be close enough, to be able to nan it back to full before getting podded.
  • if a player is intent on killing you (a nan) before the miner, you can lead him away from the miner so you can buy your miner some extra time to get back home/run towards your defensive reinforcements/get uneyed.
  • if there are multiple nans around a miner, xnan your buddies while orbiting around the miner. dont sit still or you can become an easy target for a dumbfire spike which your buddy cannot save you from with his nan.
  • try to drop prox around your own miner, as many miner o pilots love to ram the miner, they will also sustain severe if not fatal damage...
