Show Preview button
This button displays the section you are editing as it would be displayed when viewed normally, use it to make sure your formatting is correct and doing what you expected it to do. You can proof read it in the preview too so you don't have to edit your edit a minute after submitting it to correct a small mistake.
Summary box
When you have finished editing the page, fill in the summary box with a short note about what you changed, if there is some automatically generated text already in it, leave that in and add your comment after it. The minor edit box adds a m next to your comment in the pages history, tick this box if you didn't change much.
