Serves as an anti-gs/Bomber, Standard Base, and Anti-capital Heavy Armor (Not super heavy capital ship) killer.
Research: 10k
Costs: 1000
Weaponry: x1 Main Battle Cannon (Extremely high damage to Medium, and Heavy Armor Class. Takes down ints MUCH better then adv figs. BAD Damage to SUPERHEAVY Armor Class. Can do damage to light and medium base hulls. Low rate of fire, but not so low to insta-pop even a giga bomber. Range around 2.5k. Damage to anything below medium armor is not good.)
Turrets: x1 HEAVY Auto-cannon (Same Base Damage, and Range as Auto-Cannon 1. More spread, rate of fire, and ammo capacity. Heavy AC1 has same dps as Ac3.)
Missiles: None.
Deployables: None
Agility: Between GS and Bomber.
Shields: Medium Assault Shields
Armor: Heavy
Scan Range: 1k
Speed: 90
Signature: 250
Hull: 2k Base
Rip Time: 15 Seconds
Tech Path: Requires Basic Garrison, Tech Base, and Bombers.
No remaining tech bases = No more Space Tank.
Tech Upgrades:
Main Battle Cannon 2 - Increases damage, can cause damage to Major Bases (Or not, or minimal damage.) Requires ADV. Tech base to get Main Battle Cannon 2.
Heavy AC 2 and 3 - Upgrade AC level in sup.
Medium Assault Shields - As Medium Assault Shields have always worked.
Why a space tank?
To provide a counter where people are complaining there are too few in the game. Can put a good stop to GS rushes, because these baby's pop them well. Ok for base defensive, but horrible at shooting nans. Will probably require a nan, and maybe an int with it for some time. To provide a good counter to EARLY capital tech, without any late capital counter ability.
I think this could go a long way to counter some "annoying" strategies in DN, and perhaps make for some new ones itself.
