Since the alpha it was subsumed into the R5 code. Unless you want someone to go through and find all the bugfixes and copy them across the the R4 Alpha there's no way to do it.

If the Dx9 stuff had been kept seperate it would have been easier to make a new Alpha.

This is all guesswork btw, the Devs may just hate you or something.

I was told that it would be possible to integrate just the DX9 changes into the R4 tree. IF the changes were documented and tracked properly.

With renewed coding on the R5 beta and the Intel graphics bug (apparently) fixed I would hope R5 gets released in a month or so.

I am going to 'de-sticky' this thread as while the alpha is still what is allowed on the live servers it is the beta that we need to focus on bug/issue wise as that is where they will get fixed/addressed.

Mobility Radeon X2300 HD
Vista SP1 (?) (ver 6.0.6000 all updates until Jun 29th 2009)

Alpha DX9 works basicaly.

I can't see the Technoflux AB guns. all other guns work fine afaik.
With TF AB guns: I hear the gun and i see the damage it does but i can't see the bullet (or the "bar"). Afaik all other weapons work

What about the R5 beta? Do you still have any of these issues?

The problems are solved in the beta.
