I've been a member of the Legion for over a decade, if they change their policy and ask that I agree to continue being a member or leave then I either agree or leave.

It took me like 15 minutes to even understand what was being bitched about (silly me I should have read the locked thread first).

This isn't an issue, this isn't even something that requires thought, click yes and move on.

Froggy when you get to Calgary I'll get you drunk, I don't know if I can afford it as I think you have a huge tolerance for booze. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ Apr 13 2007, 01:51 AM) I think what Froggy is trying to say is that he doesn't want to be forced into clicking 'YES' to play.

Because there is no choice there, you must click 'YES' to play, he wants to be able to click 'NO' and still play instead of being railroaded into a decision he doesn't agree with.
Luckily no decision is necessary. The dialog box informs everyone of a fact that has been in place for years, and does not ask for any decision. It only asks whether or not you understand what we've all accepted throughout the years.

We don't need to decide if we agree with the way things work or not - we just need to acknowledge that we understand.

If you aren't able to understand that signing your account into other peoples' computers is bad... you probably aren't able to understand Allegiance anyways. Think of this as another form of natural selection.

If you're really that dumb that you can't honestly answer "Yes" to this warning, you should probably uninstall Allegiance.

I'm sorry if that's rude, but... well, okay I guess I'm not that sorry.

Well Froggy's argument was more philosophical than anything, with questions of free will and choice brought up which many French and German people and to a lesser extent forum-goers have been trying to figure out for yonks.

I didn't really care, I just clicked 'YES' and muted TS because goddamn Froggy and Mjol talking at once is incredibly annoying on the ears.

I'm not going to comment further on this nonsense except to reiterate that I did not move, delete, or edit any of his posts/topics.

(i.e. The complete incoherence is 100% natural)

I am so glad I spent the night with my wife watching movies. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I wish to point out it is Friday the 13th and BV does predict drama /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

With that said, I did not move, delete or edit your ramblings Froggy.

Erm, Froggy, please don't be so upset. It's only a message that you understand it.
I still /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":iluv:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> you, my green friend.

Peace.

While on the subject...

Erm... What "YES" to click on? /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

don't you know to just click yes on anything that says "Important..."

i think the only thing i ever read was google's toolbar one which said "this is not the usual yada yada"

and i only read it because it didn't sound like one of the usual ones with their all official sounding stuff

Imo if anyone is stupid enough to click NO their computer should just explode right there.

Tigereye said everything of import above ^^
