Even when the Elo scores were wiped, everyone's start-date stayed the same.

Newbies weren't automatically upgraded to rank 15s. Only those who played for 15 weeks or longer were.

Hi ...ive had the same problem as darknight ..i was playing on the newbie server ..having a very pleasant game of DM Brawl ...when my pc closed down ..logged back on and found i was banned .
Now i realize whats happened im not here to winge .Just to say new players sometimes find it nice to share tips and tricks froman old guy who aint that good ,and can anyone say they have had trouble with me ?
So suffice to say ...Should computors ever be alowed to run the real world ?

we cant have an @alleg on the newbie server to ban people who arent supposed to be there.

the nexbie servers are there so they can fly into rocks while figuring out the controlls without some 6th year vet running around owning them all the time. - you could try to get an @alleg to be on 24/7 to ban people who do this and to allow vets who want to help to play... that aint gonig to happen, if your a vet and play on the newbie server, you get banned. automatically.

if you want to help teach a newbie, go to any free server that does not have "newbie" in its name.

There could be a server who's name is

Help for Newbies Server

With a clear conduct type, and where vets who want to go help can hang around for any newbies who need direct time with players.

Nope.

ASGS will auto-protect any server with "newbie" in the name.
