thats all a bit confusing....sides..isisnt that for blender? i use wings 3D

you can still make models in wings, and you can name them i think

basically where you want a light to be, make a little mesh, name it frm-SS, frm-SS1 etc where the pivot of that mesh is there will be a light in allegiance, its colour will be the colour of the diffuse colour you gave the mesh you used to represent the light

where you want missiles to come out make a mesh named frm-missemt and they will come out of the pivot of that mesh in alleg

but the meshes given those names wont be visible

What we realy need is to hijack a wings programer to the allegiance side. Or get some one with too much time on hand to start codeing an export plugin for wings > allegiance.

well, blender can export .x files which the original art tools work with

if you can get things from wings to blender your fine.

also 3ds studio max can make .x files..

ksero was talking about making new converter in python, which would be cool since he could add the stuff i was thinking about the lights with
