the ivanova thing was a joke referencing an old tv show. i was curious as to if that was where you got the name.
and the purifier looks much better now. in fact i'm afraid i have to say that i think it looks more inline with your description of the faction's tech. the other ones kind of looked like they had been stripped down for extra speed, while this one looks like it's been beefed up for combat. still... it'd be a shame to waste such cool looking ships...

admitedly, these are just quick sketches on a small pad (and not vary good ones at that), and there's not any real smiting going on, but i think it illustrates something of what i was thinking.

yes, though you cant actually see your own ship's model when flying, moving it forward a little would help, mainly because i'm wondering why the nose sticks out like that
whats the poly count on that? it looks like you've modelled it really efficiently (large flat areas don't take many polys, but look fine if their supposed to be flat)

1400 polys... and cockpit moved forward is alright idea..but the position was so the engines help shield the pilot form fire..this ship was designed with speed in mind ( or somthing) i guess im to lazy to change it

it looks even better this way (IMHO).
i know you can't see your ship while flying it, but those armor plates are so high that you'd be able to see only things right in front of you.
have i said how promising your models (and battle scaring) are looking?
i can't wait to fly them , even if that means that i have to get out of scouts (yes terr i know, i know ... /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> )!

I really like the angel decal idea. Nothing to outrageous, but something decent. Or maybe just someone with wings, not too likely to piss someone off?
I think StoneRhinos second pic would look sweet.

whats the eta on the release of the faction?
also what are we looking at besides kool looking ships with a diffrent perk set. New tech is always fun imho.
I saw your ship with the blades and was hoping you would get the idea to turn it into a melee ship. but ehh i guess i'll have to do it when i attempt to make my faction of cyborgs.

not sure on release...them donels are mostly complete...madpepole gonna do the cvh boxes...then we need some one to make final touches and export em into milkshape/alleg mdl's theres a few new tech items...ill have a complete tech tree soon.
i like the Angel ideas also...but the problem is locating sutable art that no one will sue me over...draw me some pics i can use in a bit more detail
