Learn How to Play
Allegiance is a complicated game to play. I know you may be eager to jump in and try the game out and see what it's like, but please, please, play the seven Training Missions first. And keep in mind:
* The Training Missions teach you everything about how to play the game...
*... they teach you nothing about how to win the game.
It's like knowing how to hit a golfball without having a clue where the hole is. You may be perfect at hitting the golfball exactly where you want it, but you're still going to be useless at playing golf. That's why I say the training missions are the bare minimum.

Consult the Learning Guide if you're interested in advancing to the next level.

Join a Game
With the previous 3 steps complete, it's a simple matter of running ASGS, logging in with your gameplay account, and joining a game in the Free Games section.
*You'll probably want to start at the Newbie Server.
