Welcome to allegiance. You have a few options for learning the game, the best is likely a little of each category.
There are two types of account ''Gameplay account'' and ''Forum account''. The later is not neccessary to play the game, but inevitable if you continue to play.

Login to the Free Allegiance servers using the Allegiance Secure Gameplay System (ASGS.exe). This is the step which asks for your Gameplay Account.
