Warning! This bug has only been discovered recently. Causes of this bug may be yet unclear and only partial workarounds may be available. You get what you pay for ;)
The error: "Unable to assemble key" occurs when your computer hardware is not properly communicating with ASGS.
If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may be able to resolve this error quickly by trying one or more of the following:
- Make sure you are running Allegiance as an Administrator
- Try changing the compatibility mode. Others have reported that setting ASGSClient.exe's compatibility mode to Windows Server 2003 resolves the issue (steps to do this are shown below).
- Right-click on ASGS (sometimes labelled Allegiance) the blue icon
- Click on properties
- Click on compatibility tab
- Click on check-box which says "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
- Select Windows Server 2003
- Press Ok
- Run application
