The error: '''"Unable to assemble key"''' is a "special" error that basically means that your computer hardware is not communicating with ASGS.
{{newBug}}
This is a new error with ASGS 2.2, so all instances of it occurring have not been documented yet. Specifics for what details cause this problem will be added in as they come available.

There is a rather simple workaround for this error. Using the Compatibility Mode for Windows Server 2003 will allow ASGS to function properly. While ASGS will run in compatibility mode for Windows XP and Windows 2000, both do not fix this solution, and running as Windows NT or earlier does not allow ASGS to run.
The error: '''"Unable to assemble key"''' occurs when your computer hardware is not properly communicating with [[ASGS]].

If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may be able to resolve this error quickly by trying one or more of the following:
*Make sure you are running [[Allegiance]] as an Administrator
*Try changing the compatibility mode. Others have reported that setting ASGSClient.exe's compatibility mode to Windows Server 2003 resolves the issue (steps to do this are shown below).
*#Right-click on ASGS (sometimes labelled Allegiance) the blue icon
*#Click on properties
*#Click on compatibility tab
*#Click on check-box which says "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
*#Select Windows Server 2003
*#Press Ok
*#Run application
