Who will win the contest for the nomination in your view?
I believe Biden has no chance.

+1 for a vote for Sanders. Just curious why if you were younger you'd vote for Trump?

With tax cuts and less regulations seems like that equates to less unemployment stronger economy. With sanders I'm sure social benefits will be stronger, probably be better for people who are retired or people that can use more assistance since there working years have come to an end. Im still 10 years from retiring but wouldn't mind retiring early, especially if healthcare is cheaper.

it's looking like Sanders's chances are increasing with each week. markets had him at a 6% chance of winning last year, now at 29%. i wonder what changed? i'd be very curious to see what happens if he wins. at the very least what i would be most looking forward to is lots of american corporations moving their headquarters to Toronto once he increases corporate taxes to something stupid. and all the billionaires are also welcome to move here because (unlike what most ppl claim) their real estate markets are completely disjointed from us middle class ppl.

I would welcome the reinvestment in Canada after all the US companies pulled out of here shortly after NAFTA was signed.
Go Sanders Go!

I am not sure why you would say this. I'm not saying Biden will win for sure, but from all objective evidence, he has at least a good a chance as Sanders does.

I'm very much a Biden "stan", to the extent such a thing exists. I sincerely hope Sanders does not get the nomination. I've said before that Sanders is every bit a populist blowhard as Trump. That he's serving up a different flavor of populism is not something that matters much to me.

He is a gadfly, not a leader. If by some miracle he gets elected, he will be every bit as incompetent as Trump at effectively managing the Executive branch or cajoling Congress to pass legislation he favors.

It's not surprising to me that for the moment, folks like minigun are partial to him. Trump and Sanders are not so far apart as you might imagine. They both scratch that contrarian, anti-establishment itch.

But it would be a mistake to assume that bodes well for Sanders's electibility vis-a-vis Trump. Let's see what minigun's view looks like once Trump and the GOP actually go after Sanders in earnest.

It takes a special level of unfamiliarity with the American electorate to imagine that heartland states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Ohio are falling over themselves waiting to elect a self-described socialist.

The internet bias is not at all representative of how people are likely to vote.

538 puts Biden at the highest rating at 45% - that's by no means a sure shot, but I'd still bet on him.

Eh, super disappointed in the field of dems... maybe I'm too cynical to be inspired by a politician.

Has anyone here seriously ever met a Klobuchar supporter?

My wife's uncle is super high on Bloomberg... curious to see if he rocks the boat on super tuesday.
