Not sure where/when this went away, but it was one of the major good changes allegiance developed.

As of now, I can see a tech rock disappear, as well as see what rocks miners are mining.

Please no blame games here, any active devs are good devs imo, and it doesn't matter, nor should we care, who/what update got rid of the Fog of War.

I post this because it would be nice to bring it back. As cool as boosting 3 sectors with an int into a probeless sector to solo a miner in the enemies back sector is, competent game play is better.

Wait what, watching He drop is a thing again?

And can we either fix ranks or remove them?

Like seriously, the last games I've played it seems the losing team always gets more points... Am I just tripping?

Yeah I've noticed it as well as seeing build spheres and rocks disappear in areas that aren't eyed.

Maybe reverting every improvement made to Allegiance in the last decade is the key to getting us back to the player base we had ten years ago.

I noticed the change last weekend and was a bit surprised to see HE3 dropping in an unprobed sector.

Regarding fog of war:

Do you know approximately when this change happenned? Or when fog of war last worked properly?

Which client are you using? R4? R9? R9-beta? one of wasp's builds?

Shouldn't be a client issue. Should be server side. I can take a look at the commit history but a time that it last worked would help.
